Elisabeth Ekoh
She is 23 years old, a dedicated disciple of Jesus Christ and a passionate Biomedical Engineer. She completed her studies at the Instituto Superior de Engenharia de Lisboa (ISEL), where she earned her bachelor and master degree in Biomedical Engineering.
For her undergraduate thesis, Elisabeth developed a biocompatible resin for 3D printing, which she defended with an impressive score of 19 out of 20.
For her master's thesis, she focused on the fabrication of metallic scaffolds for bone regeneration. This research was also met with great success, earning her a grade of 19 out of 20.
Currently, Elisabeth is a scholarship researcher at the BioMat Research Group at Instituto Superior Técnico (IST) in Lisbon. Her work is part of the Milk4WoundCare project, where she contributes to the development of biomimetic platforms for chronic wound care using waste from milk.
